Mido Baroncelli Power Reserve
Real beauty is a lasting quality.
Since 1918, Mido automatic timepieces have been telling the time with an exclusive, timeless elegance. Today, the new Mido Baroncelli Power Reserve comes with an original complication which adds a further nuance of aesthetic refinement.
The Baroncelli line has been characterised for more than 30 years by the perfect alliance of expertise and unrivalled classic design. The latest Mido Baroncelli Power Reserve portrays the essence of time in its intensity and its continuity. The exclusive style of this automatic model finds expression in an interplay of exquisite lines and curves in perfect resonance with the contours of classic string instruments. Its understated elegance lays bare the full subtlety of the power reserve indicator.
The new Mido Baroncelli Power Reserve is elegant and distinctive. It stands out from previous models through its large diameter, polished steel case, which has a curved side profile matching the rounded ends of the horns.
The expansive silvered dial has a «soleil» satin finish and incorporates a power reserve indicator at six o’clock. This highly useful additional function is assured by means of a hand running over a finely snailed semi-circular section, marked with white numerals to count down the energy remaining from a power reserve of 42 hours.
The applique indexes, triangular and faceted like the hour and minute hands, have similar contours creating an effect of perfect harmony. The date aperture is positioned at 3 o’clock. Featuring an antireflecting sapphire crystal treated on both sides, the model is guaranteed water-resistant up to 50 metres thanks in particular to the famous Aquadura system protecting the winding stem. The movement and its oscillating weight, finely decorated with Geneva stripes, as well as the engraved Mido logo and blued screws, can be admired through the transparent case back.
Mounted on a brown genuine leather strap with folding clasp, the watch exudes a natural classy elegance. (Official Press Release from Mido Press)
